Cow's gas?

  Cow's gas?

What is the biggest cause of global warming in the world today?

If you were to answer automobiles or airplanes, you'd be wrong.

                                                                                                                  Surprisingly, the answer is cows!

There are thought to be around two billion cows in the world.
Cows eat grass, which is digested inside their stomachs.

During this process, methane gas is produced.

When cows fart, the gas escapes into the atmosphere where it mixes with other greenhouse gases.

This, in turn, causes global warming to occur.
Although cows are not the only producers of methane gas, they are by far the largest single contributing factor.

Scientists have now found a way to reduce the impact of cow farts.
A new medicine has been developed that neutralizes the methane gas inside a cow's
stomach before if can escape into the atmosphere.

 According to some experts,
as more and more farmers give this medicine to their cows,
The effect will be as great as removing a million cars our roads.

It may not completely solve the earth's environmental problems,

but reducing gas from cows could be an important first step towards controlling global warming.

Pancake's Day

    Pancake's day

All around the world,
people love to eat pancakes for breakfast.
In fact, there is even a holiday called Pancake Day!

People get together with friends and family and eat delicious pancakes together.

Pancake Day has its origins in the Christian tradition of Lent.
Because fatty food was prohibited during Lent, People had to use all their eggs, milk
and butter before it began-so they made pancakes!
Over time, people began to refer to the day before Lent as Pancake Day.

The most famous Pancake Day activity is a race which has been held since 1445.
According to legend, a woman was cooking pancakes before Lent when she suddenly heard the church bells ring.

Because she didn't want to be late, she ran all the way to the church in her apron, with a frying pan in her hand!

The race is run by women only.
They run to the local church, carrying a hot pancake in a frying pan.

They must toss the pancake into the air and catch it in the pan three times during the race.

The first woman to reach the church wins.
Her pancake is served to the bell ringer, who gives her a kiss in return.

From Jordan to Morocco, the pro-Gaza Rubble Bucket challenge goes viral

“I liked the idea of the ice bucket challenge, so I decided to invent the Palestinian version.”

A new trend in support of Gaza is going viral across Arab social media, after a Palestinian journalist filmed himself  dumping a bucket of sand and rubble over his head, in an activity he dubbed the “Remains Bucket” challenge.
The challenge imitates the popular Ice Bucket challenge,in which people photograph themselves pouring a bucket of ice water over their heads, to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Palestinian journalist Ayman Aloul started the trend with a video posted to his YouTube channel on Saturday.

“I liked the idea of the ice bucket challenge, so I decided to invent the Palestinian version,” Aloul says, as he stands amid the rubble of a bombed out building in Gaza.

Aloul says that the Remains Bucket challenge is a way of showing empathy for Gazans affected by Operation Protective Edge, by enabling those who take the challenge to show they understand the children’s suffering.

Explaining why he chose rubble instead of water, Aloul said that water is a scarce resource in Gaza, and would be difficult to freeze.

Pointing to the rubble, he said he decided to use that for the Palestinian version of the challenge, instead of water.

The trend quickly caught on in, and beyond, Gaza.

Among those taking the challenge include Jordanian comedian Mohammed Darwaza, who said it enabled him to feel the pain felt by children in Gaza.

Turkish pro-Palestinian NGO IHH posted a video of a Gazan man and four children undertaking the challenge.

This relay, Don't forget the children in the Gaza Strip, has put into the praying for peace.
I wish that the war come to an end and peace will come as soon as possible.

A way to go to Heaven?

A way to go to Heaven?

Perfume has always been an important part of human culture.

These days, of course,
we use perfume to make ourselves smell nicer and feel more attractive.

But this wasn't what perfume was used for.

The earliest known use of perfume was in ancient Egypt.
These perfumes were sticks that in religious rituals.
It was thought the nice smell would attract the favor of the gods.

The Egyptians expected that the gods would treat those who smelt nice more kindly than others.

That's why they used so much perfume in daily life.

Amazingly, they even thought that perfume would help them after they died.

According to evidence found in ancient tombs, they believed that having lots of perfumes, especially strong ones, would increase their chances of going to heaven.

Tutankhamen's tomb provides a good example of this.

The tomb's discoverers found jars of perfumes and oils surrounding the body.
Moreover, the fragrance could still be smelled nearly 3,300 years after the tomb was created.

That must be strong perfume when it was put in the tomb!

Raise Dirty water ?

Raise dirty water.

Would you pay a dollar for a bottle full of dirty water?

What if it was labeled "malaria" or "cholera"?

You could buy this unusual bottled water from a vending machine during World Water Week in New York City.

It is one of the most populous and crowded cities in America.

The water was sold as part in many areas of the world.

The fact is, thousands of children die from water-related diseases every day,

and millions more have no clean water to drink.

Most New Yorkers who passed by the vending machine were disgusted by the bottles of dirty water at first.

But

once they learned more about the serious problem, many of them donated money
to help end it.

The fundraiser was organized by the charitable organization UNICEF.
They promised that each dollar would allow them to provide fresh, clean water to 40 children for one day.

It may seem raise money like a shocking way.

but UNICEF's innovative method was extremely effective.

It's an amazing idea!!

women and men's psychology

Women and men's psychology

Men and women have very different ways of speaking.
When a woman tells her husband about a problem, she expects him to listen and
discuss it with her. She may be annoyed when he simply tells her how to solve
the problem.

Similarly, a husband may be annoyed when his wife asks a stranger for directions to
a park or restaurant.
Unlike his wife, he would rather use a map and find his way by himself.

Language is also part of the different ways that men and women think
about friendship. Most men believe that closeness means doing things together,
such as camping or playing tennis.

Talking is not very important to them.

Women, on the other hand, think that closeness means talking and agreeing with each other. In contrast to men, women often say such things as " This is a great restaurant, isn't it?
By adding a question to her speech "isn't it?",
she is giving the other person a chance to agree with her.

Unlike most women, men often speak more directly and give commands such as
"Close the door."
Many women, however, use more polite forms such as
" Could you please close the door?"

I think Talking is very important to everyone !!

The eagle's waiting

     The eagle's waiting

Eagle is the oldest living birds.

It lives up to 70 years old.
However,
In order to live up to 70 years old,
When 40 years old,
It must be a difficult cautious and decision

When 40 years old,

While curved into claws,
that Paralyzed.
This makes it difficult to catch the prey,
The long, curved beak bent Into the chest of the eagle.
Its wings is getting weak and heavy.
The feathers are thicker.
It is difficult to fly.

There are two ways.

Dying
Or
Facing the painful process of innovation

For 150 days at the top of the mountain,

It must nest at the end of the cliff and
should remain in the nest .
Until the removal of the previous beak, hit the rocks
After it wait for the result a new beak,

the claws are pulled by a new beak one by one.
5 months later,
When starting a new flight of the eagle,
It can live by extended more 30 years

Long waiting like eagles..................

Waiting is one among the most difficult things.

In particular, the time flows,
When we do not accomplish our dreams and plans.
We feel it is true
Eagle is sitting on a rock and
just waiting to pass painful hours.
until all the warm air flow..

Wait .
We have to wait also like
before the eagle whose wings spread and fly.

People's body heat is used

We often experience in uncomfortable and inconvenient crowd.
But, Swedish engineers have found a way to use crowds for a good purpose!
How can crowds use?
They created an invention to recycle people's body heat for wintertime heating!
Swedish station's ventilation system captures body heat and moves it to large underground tanks of water!
The heat in this water can then be used as a big heat source.
This is a amazing idea!
A similar system was used in the Mall of America in Minnesata, the mall recycles body heat from shoppers and uses it to help heat the huge building.
After storing in large underground tanks, the heated water is pumped through pipes to a new office building nearby.
There it is reused by the building's main heating system.
This reduces the cost of heating the office building by twenty percent!

For them, this system seems like the best choice to save money and energy!

Edison's humorous story

The famous inventor thomas A Edison owned a house in the country.
He liked to show things in his house to visitors.
He had made many clever inventions and enjoyed talking about them.
At one place in the garden, he had put a heavy turnstile.
It was a special kind of gate with arms that a person had to push in order to pass through.
Every visitor had to move these heavy arms while walking through Edison's garden.
"You have so many clever things around."
One visitor said, " Why do you have such a heavy turnstile?"
"Well, you see." Edison replied, "Everyone who goes through the turnstile pumps thirty liters of water into the tank on my roof."

It is hard to choose an item !!

It is hard to choose an item......!!

Every time We have opportunity cost ..

Whenever we go the shop.. Wherever we go..

 What is the opportunity cost?

It has something to do with choosing one product or service instead of another.

The item that you don't pick is opportunity cost.

We might not often realize it.
but we experience it every day.

I went to the department store wth my freinds last week , I saw a beautiful shirt that is attracted to my eyes.

 It was so expensive..
Instead of it , Other shirt is good looking.

It was lower price than first thing
I picked the next shirt . so it is the opportunity cost.

Opportunity cost can also be an activity you don't choose to do during the day.

When we decide to go to the movies instead of going shopping
Then the opportunity cost is going shopping.

morning person or night person?

Some people love mornings.
They jump out of bed early, make breakfast, and ger ready for work.

Others stay awake long after midnight, then sleep too late and have to rush to work!

There is a surprising research!

Differences in people’s sleeping patterns are now known to be partly caused by variations in our genes.

One gene in particular decides whether somebody will be a “morning person” or a “night person.”

The gene was discovered in an American family.

Many members of the family had a very unusual sleeping disorder.

They could only sleep between 7p.m. and 2a.m.

DNA samples taken from the family showed the problem to be caused by an unusual pattern in a certain gene.

This gene controls our 24-hour biological clocks, telling us when to wake up and when to feel sleepy.

Studying this gene could lead to ways of helping us when we are forced to work against our natural body clock.

Until now, I thought just lazy people who sleep too late.
But, there is scientific reason. It’s amazing and funny.

Dear John letter

Dear John letter !!

Have you ever heard " Dear John letter"??

There is a song "Dear John letter"

Dear John~ Hpw I hate to write~♪

What is the letter about ?
What does it mean?

This expression started during the Second World War!!
At that time thousands of solders were stationed oveseas for two or three years.
Their girlfriends found new boyfriends.
They worte letter and carried them to their boyfriends!!

It is right farewell letter !!!

Why is the name called John??

That isn't entirely clear!
but
Perhaps, this is because John ws a common name for a man during this period
Without starting out "Dear honey"
The letter was written in a formal way into only their name!

  Dear John song.

Dear John
Oh, how I hate to write
Dear John
I must let you know tonight
That my love for you has died away
Like grass upon the lawn
And tonight I wed another dear John

I was overseas in battle
When the postman came to me
He handed me a letter
And I was happy as I can be
The fighting was all over
And the battles, they'd all been won
But then I opened up the letter
And it started "Dear John"

Dear John
Won't you please send back my picture?
My husband wants it now
When I tell you who I'm wedding
You won't care, dear, anyhow
And it hurts me so to tell you
That my love for you has gone
But tonight I'll wed your brother dear John

I hae often watched Maori in books on TV.
They are indiffrent from current today's us..

It is said that Ta Moko iffer from ordinary tattos in some ways.
While tattos make us think of violence, Ta moko are not made using needles like in tattos instead.

hey involve carving into te skin with a sharp tool called on nhi.

so while tattos leave the skin feeling soomth Ta moko produce a bumpy surface..

Ta Moko are worn by both men and women.
They are scared us but we are scared..

Men have Ta moko on their fave and butt, while women usually have them on their chin, lips, shouledrs.

Ta Moko's pattern stands for their psition and express important information about te indibidual's family,
history, accomplishments.

If I were them, I should Ta Moko.
It is terrible to me. I really hate tatto.
I don't understand the women who do the tattoo on their all bodis..!!

About a bottle with a message!

Sometimes in movies and books, we have often seen a bottle with a message.
Did people ever actually use bottles in this way?
Surprisingly, they did!
Queen Elizabath I employed an official.
His job was to open bottles with messages.
The messages were sent from the British navy when they needed help.
Elizabeth was so serious about this job. She made it a crime for anyone else to open found bottles.
Famous American statesman and scientist, Benjamin Fraklin, also used massages in bottles.
His purpose was to draw a map of the ocean currents.
He did this by dropping bottles with messags into the Gulf Stream.
When people found and returned them, he was able to work out the exact local for his map.
Don't you think it was a clever method?

Ebola doctor in Sierra Leone dies

"RIP Dr. Sheik Humarr Khan," wrote one of the many people who remembered Khan fondly on Twitter. "What a hero. What a loss."

A University of Sierra Leone graduate, Khan worked for that African country's Ministry of Health and Sanitation, including as head of the Lassa fever program at Kenema Government Hospital, according to the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium.

Lassa fever is a virus common in west Africa, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes.

While in that latter post, Khan contracted with the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone, consulted with the World Health Organization/Tulane University on its Mano River Union Lassa fever network and was physician-in-charge of his hospital's HIV/AIDS program.

"His valiant work will not be forgotten," Dr. Penninah Iutung Amor, AIDS Healthcare Foundation's Africa bureau chief, said in a statement. "In a country that has fewer than 200 medical doctors in its entire public health sector, the loss of even one doctor is a loss too great."

Khan continued his training in Ghana from 2010 to 2013, before returning to head the Kenema Government Hospital's Lassa fever program and becoming a lecturer at the University of Sierra Leone. The Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium described him as "one of the world's leading experts in the clinical care of viral hemorrhagic fevers" -- among them, Ebola.

This disease typically kills 90% of those infected, but the death rate in this outbreak has dropped to roughly 60% because of early treatment. The outbreak is happening primarily in three West African countries: Guinea, where it began, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

As of July 23, the World Health Organization had confirmed more than 800 Ebola cases in the region, but it suspects there have been many unreported infections and there may be as many as 1,200 cases.

Sierra Leone has been hardest hit, with approximately 525 cases.
"Dr. Khan was an extremely determined and courageous doctor who cared deeply for his patients," Doctors Without Borders said in a statement.

"His work and dedication have been greatly appreciated by the medical community in Sierra Leone for many years. He will be remembered and missed by many, especially by the doctors and nurses that worked with him. MSF's sincere thoughts and condolences are with Dr. Khan's family, friends and colleagues."

Recently, many people died from an dangerous virus, Ebola.
The Ebola virus ranks among the most terrifying of the deadly “emerging diseases.”
Outbreaks have swept through parts of Africa since 1976, killing up to 90 percent of its victims.
The Ebola virus is spread by contact with body fluids, including sweat and saliva.
In addition, no vaccines are available to prevent Ebola.
We are really scared for this virus.
I hope that they'll develop a vaccine to stop the virus spreading ASAP.
